What exactly is Baptism?

During one of our baptism services, you will be briefly dunked in a baptism pool we set up, in front of your friends and church family.

If immersion isn’t possible, we also offer baptism by sprinkling.

What does Baptism symbolize?

Baptism is a public expression of our faith in Jesus. It symbolizes our union with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection

(Romans 6 : 3–4).

It’s like a wedding ring—it doesn’t create the relationship, but it shows that you belong to someone. In the same way, baptism doesn’t save you, but it makes visible what God has already done in your heart—that you now belong to Jesus and are walking in a new life with Him.

It is an important step in following Jesus and marks the emergence of a new life with Him.

How do I begin a Relationship with God?

We all recognize that our relationship with God is broken because of sin. But God, in His love, sent Jesus to restore us.

Jesus lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again—so that through Him we can be forgiven, made new, and brought into a relationship with God.

“By grace you have been saved through faith… it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2 : 8 – 9

To follow Jesus is to receive this grace and begin a new life with Him.

Thinking about Baptism?

If you’re considering baptism, you may already be taking steps toward Jesus. You don’t need to have everything together—just a heart that wants to follow Him. We’d love to walk with you and help you take your next step.
