Grew up between Hong Kong and Toronto before moving to Boston in 1998 to study Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee. He married Sophie in 2000, and together they have three kids—Caleb, Leah, and Hannah. He loves music, writes songs, leads worship, and once played in a band called So Cafe. Outside of music, he enjoys biking, eating good food, meaningful conversations, and spending time on walks with his two dogs, Jolly and Milo. His life motto is「摸著石頭過河」—following Jesus one step at a time.
生長於香港及多倫多。1998年林牧師就讀波士頓伯克利音樂學院，主修現代音樂寫作與製作。於千禧年與蘇菲共偕連理 ，並育有三個子女，迦勒 、利亞、及漢娜。林牧師熱愛音樂。他愛作曲，主領崇拜，他曾一度參與樂隊，So Cafe。除了音樂，他也喜愛騎單車、美食品嚐、有深度、有意義的談話。林牧師也是愛狗一族。他喜愛花時間與他兩隻狗狗Jolly和Milo散步。 最後，分享林牧師的人生座右銘 「摸着石頭過河」 - 跟隨耶穌的腳踪行。
